2022 Vinovator Mish Mash White
A new label from Rogue Vintner although a familiar blend.
This is an intriguing and exciting blend of 70% Riesling, 20% Pinot Gris and 10% Viognier. This is small batch winemaking at its best! The Riesling provides juicy, limey fruit with a beautiful line of acidity, the Pinot Gris softens the palate and adds complexity with some pear and spice character. The Viognier component was fermented in an older French oak barrel (yes only 1 barrel) to add richness and texture to the palate. The delightful perfumed Viognier character jumps from the glass creating additional interest and complexity.
