The wine is wonderfully fruited and inviting on the nose showing blackberry, dark plum, toasted nut, and violet notes with a hint of pepper spice. It is flavoursome and beautifully weighted on the palate with succulent fruit intensity and fleshy texture, splendidly framed by silky tannins. A blend of shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, grenache, and mourvedre. At its best: now to 2026.

It is always great to see something new in the world of wine and I am fairly sure you’ve never tasted a wine like this. It is a Western Australian blend that brings together fruit from Margaret River and the Great Southern to craft an exotic white.
Zesty old vine Riesling from down south is lifted by pinot gris and a touch of barrel-fermented Viognier. The wine has exotic pear and floral aromatics that almost explode from the glass leading to a dry and crisp style with a touch of grip. There is plenty of length too for that exotic fruit to make its mark. That exotic fruit and crisp style makes it very well suited to spicy Thai dishes.
